The Rare Microclimate Craft: This expression offers a completely unique profile achieved by strategic barrel placement. The whiskey was matured exclusively in the cooler, lower levels of the distillery’s multi-story barrelhouses. Because the liquid expands and contracts more gently at these lower temperatures, it absorbs less intense oak tannin, resulting in a lighter-bodied Tennessee whiskey with a naturally sweeter, incredibly mellow profile.
